It consists of multiple small injections using a fine needle into targeted muscles on the face or neck. Mild pain with the injections, pinprick bleeding and mild temporary swelling are to be expected with the procedure and will resolve within 30 minutes. You will start to see the effects of botulinum toxin in about 3 days however please allow 2 weeks to see the full benefit. It will last anywhere from 3-6 months (every patient is different!)
