What does the treatment feel like?
Once the skin is numb (achieved by using a cream applied in the office for 30 minutes prior to your procedure), you may feel a light pressure; however, most people feel the treatment is very comfortable with virtually no pain or down time. Vivace was designed with patient comfort in mind.
How long does the treatment take?
The actual treatment will take about 20-45 minutes depending on the area treated. You should arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment for numbing to be applied.
What is the recovery time?
Because of Vivace’s unique technology, there is very little if any downtime. Most patients are able for a night out with little to no indication of treatment the same day.
What is radiofrequency?
Radiofrequency provides heat that stimulates collagen production. This has been shown to lead to tighter and younger looking skin.
How many treatments will I need?
Most patients find that 3 to 4 treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart provide the optimal experience for patients. While the results are often immediate for skin tone and texture, there is also improvement over a three month period as the process of collagen regeneration increases over time.
When can I wear make up after treatment?
Most patients will go out within hours after treatment with no make up at all. To maximize the combination of open channels, use the recovery system provided after your treatment. We recommend waiting at least six hours prior to applying makeup.
How do I get the maximum results from my treatment?
Follow the recommended recovery protocol once you get home. Avoid sun and take about 3-5 days off from working out. Remember that multiple treatments are recommended for optimal results.
What kind of skin does this work on?
This treatment is safe for most skin colors including dark and tanned skin. Ask your doctor.
How long will results last?
Everyone is different, the collagen you make is your own and continues accelerated production over three months. Results improve over time.
