Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner
Julia Marvel is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. After spending several years as an inpatient nurse at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Julia decided to pursue her long term passion for dermatology and joined our team at DermWellesley in 2021. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Julia has served as the Mohs surgery nursing team leader and also is first assist for our ocuolofacial plastic surgeon. Her comprehensive medical and surgical background allows her to provide top of the line care while also creating a positive and comfortable experience for her patients. Julia has advanced training and has performed hundreds of Sofwave, Vivace, Fraxel, Aerolase and miraDry procedures in our office.
Education, Achievements, and Background
Julia’s nursing career began at Brigham and Women’s Hospital where she worked on an inpatient medical intermediate care unit for 6 years. She received her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Northeastern University, as well her Dermatology Certification from Florida Atlantic University, one of the top graduate dermatology nurse practitioner programs in the country (News and World Report). Julia is now accepting new patients.
